Mallena is a women’s clothing brand, which was founded in 2013 by Elena Grosu, a graduate of the Academy of Arts, who wanted a melodious and easy to pronounce word, that’s how Mallena appeared.

Through the models created, Elena tries to emphasize the femininity and individuality of each client. It all depends on the season – the colors and trends, and the materials you use are carefully chosen. The age category to which the products are aimed is between 18 – 55 years, and customers can buy both delicate dresses with romantic design and strict office outfits.

Most Mallena products have a history behind them. An entire team of about 30 people works to create them. The first collection with which Elena stood out, for which she also received many promotion proposals was the ethno-style collection “Remember me”, which she made as a diploma thesis at the end of her studies (Academy of Arts). She also won first place in the “Ethno” category at the “Art Podium 2012” young designers competition. She also participated in the contest “Textiles and fashion” in Ukraine, Donetsk, where she took 1st place in the category “New name” and was praised by Veaceslav Zaitsev. Another collection that she loves enormously is the one made for the contest of young designers “Ia Mania 2014”, which the public appreciated very positively. Every year, Malena can be seen on the catwalk “Fashion Days Moldova”, where the latest collections for each season are exhibited.

In 2018, a sub-branch of the brand appeared, called Mallena Home. Here are made sets of kitchen textiles made of special fabric that repels water and dirt, with decorative elements of natural lace and various original embroideries. Each set is made with a lot of love and dedication, plus customers can enjoy an affordable price.
